In Breton folklore, a korrigan is a female fairy. The korrigans have the utter most beautiful hair and bright red eyes. They are often represented as important princesses or druidesses  who opposed to christianity when apostles came to convert Brittany. Like sirens, they sing and comb their lushes hair and hunt fountains and wells. They have the ability to make men fall in love with them, but they then kill the ones who does. they are known for predicting the future, changing shapes and moving at lightning speed. On the night of October 31st (All Soul's Night), it is said that they are lurking near dolmens looking for victims.  They are eager to deceive the the imprudent humans who seems them looking for a treasure or dancing and are very fond of stealing children, replacing them with changelings (frenchentree.com, 2013).
